Board

The SACCORD board consists of eight board members. The board consists of the chairperson, vice chairperson, secretary, treasurer and four board members. Of the eight, four (4) are women and four (4) are men.

Board members

Ms Tomaida C. Milingo: Is a scholar, researcher and lecturer at the University of Zambia (UNZA) specialized in religious studies. She is a dedicated member of the SACCORD board and is currently serving as the board chair. She holds a BA in Religious Studies, MA in Religious Studies, and PhD candidate Religious Studies (UNZA).

Ms Christine Munalula: Is a civil activist who has vast experience working in Zambia’s civil society for organizations such as Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) and WiLDAF. She currently works for Care International and is currently the board secretary for SACCORD. She holds a BA in Social work, Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights (UNZA).

Dr Nkolola Wakumelo: Is a scholar, lecturer and researcher at the University of Zambia (UNZA). She brings research expertise to the SACCORD board which is important in terms of developing a culture of documenting organized knowledge for the organization. She is currently serving as the board treasurer for the organization. She holds a PhD in literature and languages.

Dr Jolly Kamwanga: Is a senior research fellow at the Institute for Social Research (INESOR) of the University of Zambia (UNZA). He also brings a wealth of research experience to the SACCORD board. He holds an MA in Demography and PhD in Public Health.

Mr Modest Hamalabbi: Is a chartered accountant who currently works for the Zambia Institute for Chartered Accountants (ZICA). He brings knowledge regarding accounts related matters to the SACCORD board which is important for accountability related matters. He holds an MBA from Maastricht School of Management (Netherlands), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) (UK), and B.Sc. in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (UK), and Natech from ZICAS.

Ms Nale Siame: Is a change management consultant who has vast experience working with international organizations such as DFID. She brings knowledge on managing change to the SACCORD board. She holds a BA in Public Administration, Cambridge International Diploma in Project Management, and Post Graduate Diploma in International Development.

Mr Humphrey Elekani: Is a businessman who has vast experience working with international organizations such as MS Zambia and also working in Zambia’s civil society.  He brings a business mindset to the SACCORD board and also vast experience in civil society work. He also currently works as the Programme Manager for  He holds an MA in Natural Resource Management focusing on planning and Management, BA in Agricultural Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in M & E.

Mr Nicholas Haambokoma: Is a researcher and lecturer of religious studies at the University of Zambia (UNZA). He brings vast spiritual and organizational experience to the SACCORD board. He holds a BA in Religious Studies and MA in Religious Studies.
